Te Ohu o Onekiritea are
a collective of whānau Māori living in Onekiritea / Hobsonville

Founded by two wāhine Te Rauhiringa Krysal-Lee Brown and Jewelz Petley, Te Ohu o Onekiritea has morphed into a collective of whānau Māori working together to create a place of belonging in the development of Hobsonville Point.

Te Reo Māori Lessons (2022)

Te Rauhiringa and Mauri Oho hosted koha based te reo Māori lessons for the community of Hobsonville Point and surrounding areas

Matariki (2022 / 2023 / 2024)

Over the years Te Ohu o Onekiritea have hosted various Matariki events with the support of the Hobsonville Point Residents Society, Hobsonville Point Secondary School and the Upper Harbour Local Board.

Te Tiriti and Equity Workshops

Thanks to support from The Trusts, Te Ohu o Onekiritea hosted Te Tiriti and Equity workshops.

Art Point (2023)

Te Ohu o Onekiritea partnered with Te Kawerau ā Maki to host an event as part of the Artpoint activation day in November 2023.
